Country Day School

Founded in 1940, The Country Day School is a learning center that provides early childhood education. Based in McLean, Va., it features several classrooms, multipurpose room, library, science room, training pool and an art studio. The school has nine playgrounds designed for younger children that focus on the development of different skills. The Country Day School conducts programs, such as Parent/Child Program, Twos program, Threes program, Fours and Kindergarten program. The school's vast curriculum includes subjects that comprise Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Art, Music and Movement. It has received accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
