Collision Plus

Collision Plus Inc. was opened in 1991 by Kenny Jennelle in Christiansburg Virginia. Running the business alone, he provided quality repairs and fair prices to the public. As his reputation grew within the community, the need for more staff became apparent. The first person to work beside Kenny was his wife, Beverley. Assisting with clerical and reception duties, she allowed Kenny time to repair more vehicles. In 1996, the Montgomery County Chamber of commerce helped cement Collision Plus in the market place by awarding us the Commerce Award. Being voted ?best business? by companies and peers in the community was an honor we are still grateful for today. By 1998 Collision Plus employed 13 people and worked directly with several insurance companies. This provided an opportunity for Kin, the oldest of two sons, to return home from 8 years of service in the Army and help move the business forward. After remodeling the original building to more than double its working space, we decided it was time to search for a new location. In November of 1999 we opened the door to our current facility on Ferguson Drive in Blacksburg. Family Business (2000 ? 2008) The 1990?s saw the origination and rapid growth of a small company into a medium size business. However, there were many milestones left to be passed. In 2002 Kenny?s youngest son, Jason, joined Collision Plus to complete the family business. Shortly after the need for more room was apparent, plans for another expansion were drawn up. In 2005, 6,500 square feet of repair area and a multi-media training room were added. This relaxed our need for space until we opened our second repair facility, Collision Plus 2, in 2007. Located in Christiansburg behind the Toyota division of Shelor Motor Mile, Collision Plus 2 has had a very rapid growth pattern servicing the needs of new and loyal customers. We currently have 33 team members at both Collision Plus and Collision Plus 2. Having one of the most advanced shops in Southwest Virginia aides us in attracting and retaining the top technicians and customer service personnel in the area. The Future As we move forward, Collision Plus is dedicated to ongoing training, staying current and utilizing the most cutting edge technologies in auto body repair. We will always be open to new processes and alternatives to old ways of approaching repairs. We will continue to operate with safety and repair integrity as our number one priority, while treating each customer as an individual. New products and services will continue to be offered as we expand our scope to meet all of our customer?s needs.
