In 2007, Choi's Korean Kitchen opened its doors to the Fredericksburg area with a goal of delivering authentic Korean food to its customers. Except for a few appetizers and some sushi dishes, the menu consists of several Korean dishes that are made from fresh ingredients. The lunch menu contains items such as Bul-go-gi, a dish marinated in a special soy sauce and cooked with vegetables. There is a different dinner menu that includes Shrimp and Scallop Stir Fry and Kimchi Soup. Kids have their own menu and while the dessert menu is short, it contains fried ice cream. All food is free of MSG, and Choi's offers a 50 percent discount to all Korean War veterans and their families.
