Since our non-profit agency was chartered in 1900, we have placed more than 12, 500 children into permanent, loving homes Our agency offers full adoption services, including the home study, placement, supervision and counseling. Although most of the children served through our infant program are healthy, we also place children who are HIV positive or born with medical issues like spina bifida or cerebral palsy Since 1998, we have been helping Virginia's children in foster care through our Partnership for Adoptions program. Nationally recognized, this program provides adoption support services to get children out of the public foster case system and into permanent adoptive families. Because adoption is a lifelong experience, post-placement adoption services are available to those encountering challenges in the years following placement.
