The Carter Family Fold and Carter Family Memorial Music Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the legacy of the original Carter Family, the pioneers of country music. Established by Janette Carter in 1979, the center provides a venue for weekly performances that celebrate old-time bluegrass and folk music in Hiltons, Virginia.
Located near A.P. Carter's relocated cabin, the site serves as a historical hub where visitors can immerse themselves in the rich musical heritage introduced by the Carter Family in 1927.
