Camp Friendship

Located in Palmyra, Va., Camp Friendship is a residential summer program located on more than 700 acres of land, and serving various children. The camp features lakes for fishing, canoeing and kayaking, swimming pools, tennis courts, gymnastics and equestrian centers, mountain-board courses, and riflery and archery ranges. Its facilities also include sports fields and gymnasiums for a variety of sports, low- and high-ropes courses, an 18-hole golf course, and river frontage for tubing and canoeing. Its gymnastic center is equipped with balance beams, tumble tracks, inground trampolines, vaults, uneven bars, minitramps, spring floors, weights and a dance room. The camp s equestrian center includes an 80-horse barn, indoor arena, outdoor rings and lessons, horse show rings, trail paths and woods. It offers a wide variety of activities, including horseback riding, mountain boarding and biking, swimming, drawing and painting, campfire production, candle making, photography and pottery.
