History

Calypso Studios President Ed Lawrence grew up around the retail industry; he spent much of his youth helping his mother in the gift shop she owned in Midlothian, VA. After finishing school, Mr. Lawrence became a sales rep, selling products to retail establishments like his mother's. Eventually, he owned his own sales representative company. In 2007, Mr. Lawrence and wife Kathy sought to establish their own wholesale company. Calypso Studios was born with the goal of providing affordable fashion accessories, jewelry, and gifts to retail locations all over the country. With the experience gained in the retail and sales industries, the Lawrences have been able to provide exceptional products and customer service.
