Calvary Seventh Day Adventist School

Bethel Christian School was founded in 1972 as a ministry of the Bethel Baptist Church and has been serving students from kindergarten through 12-grade. It is a member of the American Association of Christian Schools and Old Dominion Association of Church Schools. Bethel s facility, based in Hampton, Va., offers classrooms, gymnasium, computer and science lab, library, chapel and kitchen. It also offers a preschool, a strong elementary program and a college prep program in the high school. Bethel emphasizes on fine arts and inter-scholastic sports that include basketball, volleyball, soccer and athletics. The school provides spiritual emphasis through Bible classes, chapel, outreach, Bible extension programs and music.

Founded in 1960, Trinity Lutheran School is a coeducational Christian day school. It is an educational and social ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church. Its preschool offers development-focused programs for students ages 3 to 4. Its preschool is licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services. The school offers language arts, math, science and social studies for students in grades one through five. Trinity Lutheran School also conducts resource classes once a week for students in grades one through five. Its elementary school program also includes field trips, special programs and guest speakers lectures. The school offers a variety of sports activities, such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, cheerleading and cross country. Trinity Lutheran School is located in Newport News, Va.
