Pediatric Associates of Charlottesville is a private-practice clinic whose doctors, nurses and staff specialize in the care of infants, children, adolescents and their families. We have early office hours as well as evening and weekend hours for emergencies. All of our doctors are certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. They also have fields of interests in certain pediatric sub-specialties including adolescent care, allergy, asthma, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), infections diseases, anorexia and sports medicine, to name a few. Pediatric Associates also provides specialty services with an on-site psychologist, audiologist, adolescent nurse practitioner, lactation consultant, and newborn nurse practitioner. Our hospital affiliation is with Martha Jefferson Hospital where we admit newborns and sick children. Many of our doctors are on the Instructional Faculty at the University of Virginia where we do research and teach medical students, nurse practitioner students, and resident physicians. Sentara Internal Medicine Physicians are board certified by the American Board of Family Physicians. They are trained in internal (adult) medicine, sports medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, geriatrics, minor surgery and family issues.
