Grundy Wrestling Club
The Grundy Wrestling Club, established in 1983, offers wrestlers in Buchanan County a platform to excel in their sport. Led by Head Coach Travis Fiser, a 2X NCAA All American, the club boasts a state-of-the-art practice facility that rivals those of many college teams. With a rigorous schedule that exposes wrestlers to college coaches and nationally ranked opponents, Grundy Wrestling Club has a strong wrestling background, holding state records for consecutive team titles, team points, and team titles, as well as national records for highest score in a quad and fastest pin for a heavyweight. Not only does Grundy Wrestling Club have an impressive track record at the high school level, but their middle school program is equally strong. Middle school wrestlers have the opportunity to compete across the state and even in states like Oklahoma, New Jersey, and Ohio. With numerous state champions and place winners, the middle school team has also made history by becoming the first AA team to win the VAC State tournament. With a seasoned team of returning state placewinners and finalists, as well as promising new faces, Grundy Wrestling Club is poised for another successful season.Generated from the website
