Bayside High School

Bayside High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes programs in science, fine arts, business and technology education and English. The school additionally conducts classes in physical education, social studies, mathematics and marketing. Bayside High School also has foreign languages and family and consumer science departments. Its athletics department offers a variety of sports activities, such as baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, hockey, football, golf, gymnastics, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, wrestling and volleyball. The school supports several clubs and organizations, including the National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, and yearbook, orchestra, German, French, drama, debate, band and chess clubs. Bayside High School has a guidance department that provides counseling services. The school is located in Virginia Beach, Va., and is a part of Virginia Beach City public Schools.
