Dr. Tavani recieved his medicaldegree at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He then completed his internship in family medicine at Providence Hospital through Georgetown University, followed by his residency in family medicine at the University of Maryland Prince Georges Hospital Center in Cheverly. Dr. Tavani later obtained his Doctor of Philosophy at Georgetown University in 1984.
