History

Mike Budwash started carpentry at the age of 14, helping his neighbor on the weekends and summer break. They would frame,siding,trim and install cabinets in all the houses that they worked on. Eventually his employer transitioned to trim and cabinets . Mike worked with him until he was 24 (2001). At that time he was ready to start his own business, which at the time was named (Mikes Custom Trim), focusing on trim and installing cabinetry. He started the custom cabinet side of the company in 2005 and changed the name of the business to Appalachian Woodworks. He continued with trim carpentry, installing cabinetry and providing custom cabinetry until 2011. Now the company's main focus is dedicated to custom cabinetry.

Appalachian Woodworks LLC specializes in the following fields: -Cabinetry design, build, and installation. -Custom millwork manufacturing and installation. -Installation of wainscoting, coffered ceilings, and trim packages.
