The American Legion Department of Virginia, chartered by Congress in 1919, is a patriotic organization dedicated to mutual help and community service for military veterans. Comprised of 17 districts and over 39,500 legionnaires, the department celebrated its 100th annual convention in 2018.

Working in collaboration with the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion, and Legion Riders, the Department of Virginia strives to provide vital support to veteran services, lobbying efforts, and outreach in local communities. Membership offers numerous benefits and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of fellow veterans.

Nice American Legion with good facilities and well kept. Out in the woods so not something you are likey to drive by.
