History

We opened Alpaca By Jaca after we purchased several alpacas. We started in a small retail space and after a year moved to a larger space in a bigger shopping center at Smith Mountain Lake. We were there for 3 years and loved our customers and the lake, but we needed to be in a larger population area. In April of 2016 we opened our store in Graves Mill Shopping Center in Forest, VA 24104. We are getting lots of new customers and are looking forward to a great fall, Christmas and winter season.

Specialties

We specialize in offering all natural fiber clothing: Alpaca, Bamboo, Cotton and Silk. Our alpaca clothing includes sweaters, jackets, coats, ponchos, ruanas, socks, hats, gloves, scarves, and slippers. We also have stuffed animals with baby alpaca fur, and finger puppets for children. Our cotton clothing includes, tops, cover-ups, dresses, leggings, jeggings, t-shirts, tank tops, and summer hats. And our bamboo clothing includes men's and women's t-shirts, and women's tops, dresses, jackets, cardigans, and socks. We also carry bamboo bedding including: sheets,, pillow cases, mattress toppers, and duvets. We have a variety of jewelry items, rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces. And we carry purses and totes.l
