Afton Mountain Vineyard is on the sunrise side of the Blue Ridge mountains, 30 minutes from Charlottesville and 20 minutes from Staunton, VA. With vines planted in 1978 all the way through 2020, we serve all dry wines that are produced from estate-grown grapes. The tasting house and Pavilion are surrounded by vines and mountain views. At this time our patio, Pavilion and lawn are open to the public on a first-come first-serve basis. No parties more than 6 people. no guests under 21.

Nice area, great vista, and very nice building. Wines are pricey and pours are chincy. I did the tasting which is 4 choices for $20. One glass literally had one sip in it, which means I paid $5.00...

Lovely facility, GORGEOUS views; excellent Gewurtztraminer. Inviting Adirondack chairs beg you to sit a bit and enjoy!

Wine was amazing. Loved the bacco! They had small snacks like hummus and pretzels, chips, and cheese and salami. There was plenty of seating and the views were beautiful. I can't wait to go back here
