Advanced Concrete Foundations

Jared L. Lake and Thomas D. Lanahan founded advanced Concrete Foundations in Troy, Va., in 1989. In 1999, Lanahan became the sole owner. The company provides poured concrete footings and walls for the residential and light commercial industry in 18 counties in central Virginia. It also provides an estimate at no cost to the builder and will form the entire layout for the foundation after the builders' excavation. ACF provides formed concrete walls that are left unfinished after removing the forms and will correct work at no cost to the builder as necessary to conform to the builders' plan. The company sells Form-a-Drain, a polyvinyl chloride rectangular pipe that forms, drains and vents residential and commercial footings.
