A R Fabrication LLC

AR Fabrication is located just over an hour west of our nation's capital in Winchester, VA. We operate out of a 6, 500 square-foot facility with an in-ground DynoJet AWD Dyno. AR Fabrication LLC is owned by Karl Anderson and operated with his son Howard Anderson since October 2001. The business was originally located at the home of Karl Anderson in Clarke County, VA. The initial product was the construction of race car chassis and roll cages from high quality aircraft tubing using advanced welding techniques. The growth of the company necessitated a move to Frederick County in its current location in December of 2003. The Company has evolved into a full service performance business that accomplishes the full spectrum of research and development of high performance automobiles. With the addition of newly acquired machinery and tooling it produces high performance racing engines for many performance enthusiasts. Karl Anderson, the son of a professional mechanic and aviator, developed an interest at an early age of all things mechanical. As a young boy he built a lawnmower out of discarded parts and mowed lawns for spending money. When in High School he built a 1931 Ford Model A 5 window coupe street rod which was powered by a supercharged Buick engine, and had fully independent suspension with disc brakes on all wheels. He spent a tour of duty in the United States Navy where he was trained on Diesel engines and became a decorated Viet Nam Veteran. Karl has experience as a mechanic overhauling aircraft parts and accessories and as a Quality Control Manager for a Jet Engine facility that installed the engine in the airplane seen in the James Bond Movies. He became a Professional Air Line Pilot which allowed him the finances to form AR Fabrication. He is currently retired from the Air Lines and spends his time running AR Fabrication Howard Anderson is the son of Karl Anderson, and like his father he developed an interest in mechanical toys at an early age. His early hobbies included Remote Control Race Cars which he enjoyed racing as a youth. His first car was a VW Beetle which was lowered, had shaved doors and a rebuilt engine. Howard received a degree in Engineering Sciences and began building Low Riders. He has become an accomplished fabricator and machinist and has produced some awesome creations. He has been active in the Import Drag Racing world since the late 1990's and successfully built some formidable Pro Front Wheel Drive Honda's. He is currently developing a tube chassis Subaru STI. Howard is responsible for all production and engineering at AR Fabrication, and is the go to guy in the organization. AR Fabrication works with other expert vendors in our field to help bring projects to completion. We have teamed up with some of the best in the business to offer our clients the best overall service available.
