4-H Youth
The Roanoke Master Gardeners Association has been serving the Roanoke Valley, Botetourt County, and Craig County since 1987. As volunteer educators, they promote environmentally sound horticulture practices through sustainable landscape management, education, and training, bringing the resources of Virginia Tech and Virginia State University to the community.
With a focus on sharing knowledge and empowering communities, the Roanoke Master Gardeners Association offers a range of programs and events, including 4-H Youth Programs, a Speakers Bureau, Horticulture Therapy, and support for community gardens. They also collaborate with the Community Arboretum at Virginia Western Community College and participate in various public presentations and booths at local events throughout the year.
