History

In 1967 Woody Darken bought The Moore House and turned it into Woodstock Sports. Peter Johnston, owner now, started working for Woody when he was 14 years old. After 9 years of working for Woody He bought the business and building from Woody! Peter and His wife Allison have owned Woodstock Sports for 32 years. Their family works for them as well! The business is now in its 48th year and has grown to be a destination point for High Quality items.

Woodstock Sports is much more than the name implies. We are high end retail and fine clothing and outerwear. We also carry bikes and accessories. Woodstock Sports is a private family owned business in the beautiful town of Woodstock located in Vermont.
