Upper Valley Food Co-Op

Operating since 1976, Upper Valley Food Co-op is a natural foods co-operative, serving the greater Upper Valley area. Based in River Junction, Vt., this community market carries local items, primarily natural or organic in nature. It provides a range of products, including organic and ecologically grown fruits ad vegetables, locally baked breads, such as wholegrain loaves, pizza crusts, baguettes and more. Additionally, the co-operative provides gluten free products, imported and local cheeses and soy products. Other supplies include grocery products, herbs and spices, vitamins, homeopathy supplies, dairy, meats, poultry, health and body care items and gift items. Offering membership discounts and special sales, Upper Valley Food Co-op is involved in community work, including promoting and hosting local events such as gardening and sewing workshops and maintaining a library of books on gardening and natural health, among others.
