The Yankee Bookshop

Vermont's oldest continuously operated independent bookshop first opened in November 1935 and has been serving Woodstock and the surrounding towns for 75 years. Susan Morgan, Yankee Bookshop's owner and steward, continues the Shop's tradition of serving the literary needs of the community. The shelves are stocked with current best sellers, international authors, literary newcomers and perennial favorites. Our customers have come to expect the surprise & enjoyment of discovering a book they have been unable to find in other book stores.
