The Old Schoolhouse is a charming restored school in the center of the historic village of Isle La Motte, the most northwestern and rural island in Lake Champlain. Perfect homebase for touring around the islands or visiting Burlington and Montreal. Biking, swimming, boating, rare fossil viewing, fine dining, golf - all here or closeby. Popular tourist sites include St Anne's Shrine, The Goodsel Ridge Preserve (home of some of the oldest fossils on the planet) and Fisk Farm of Teddy Roosevelt fame.
