The Batten Kill Watershed Alliance

The Batten Kill Watershed Alliance, established in 2001, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the responsible management of the Batten Kill and its tributaries. Through collaboration with private, municipal, state, and federal entities, they have successfully completed numerous habitat restoration projects, including trout habitat restoration and investments in river dynamics. Their efforts also involve tree planting along stream and river banks, public presentations on river-related topics, and the distribution of educational materials to promote good stewardship.
