Spencer L. Blackman, MD, Family Medicine Physician

Dr. Jennifer Bamford is an urgent care family medicine physician at Urgent Care in Colchester, VT. She also serves as an assistant professor at the Larner College of Medicine at UVM.Her areas of expertise include women's health, pediatrics, skin lesions and managing chronic conditions. She is passionate about wellness and in empowering patients to advocate for their own health.Dr. Bamford believes, "The joy of family medicine is the ability to take care of several generations of the same family. It is much easier to take care of the whole patient when you know where they come from, both genetically and socially. I really enjoy getting to know my patients well over time. Every aspect of our lives can affect our current health status. I feel that a good relationship with my patients helps us both to achieve an optimal outcome."

Dr. David Swift is a family medicine doctor at the University of Vermont Medical Center and assistant professor at the Larner College of Medicine at UVM. He specializes in the full spectrum of family medicine including maternity care and pediatrics. Dr. Swift believes in partnering with patients to help manage their conditions across their life span. Dr. Sean Maloney is the medical director and site leader of Family Medicine – Colchester at the University of Vermont Medical Center and assistant professor at the Larner College of Medicine at UVM in Burlington, VT. He has an interest in obesity, nutrition, exercise, joint injections, IUD contraception, endometrial biopsy and skin biopsy. As medical director he hopes to continue to improve how we treat the whole patient and family throughout their lives. Dr. Maloney chose family medicine because he felt it the most challenging and interesting area of medicine that treats the whole person and the whole family. He enjoys being able to communicate closely with his patients.He also enjoys working with the office team and continually trying to make the whole care experience better for the patient.
