Rags and Riches Store, one of the largest decorative fabric outlets of its kind on the East Coast, first opened its doors in an old school house in Waitsfield Vermont in 1974. Owners Jon and Lee Rosenberg, from New York and Massachusetts, respectively, decided to settle in Vermont and try something different. Opening a retail shop, offering dress goods, odd pieces of jewelry, wall hangings, and an assortment of nicknack's allowed them to work and enjoy their surroundings.
