North County Hospital, located in Newport, Vt., is a medical and nursing center that offers a variety of treatment for cancer, heart, orthopedics, skin, chronic wound, diabetes, and women and children s health care. It provides other services, including diagnostic imaging, emergency medicine, home health, transitional care, orthopedics and pediatrics. The center offers heart surgery that includes bypass, valve replacement and procedures. It additionally provides occupational, physical and language therapies, rehabilitation, and laboratory services to the patients.
