Maplehurst Florist is a 3rd generation family business, serving Chittenden County. Phyllis and Charles Houghton started in 1943 as a small grower of spring bedding plants. Soon customers started asking for wedding, cut flowers and flower arrangements. The next generation, Carl Houghton joined the business in the mid 1960's. Now Jon has joined his father as the owner and manager. As members of the community, we pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service, superior value and exquisite floral designs of outstanding quality. With our knowledge of the greater Burlington area, we make daily deliveries to all area residences and businesses. Fletcher Allen Hospital, UVM, St. Michael's College, Champlain College, IBM, GE Health Care and all area funeral homes including Corbin and Palmer, Ready's, Lavigne's, Elmwood Meunier, A.W. Rich, Giffords, Bouchard and Pritchard and Minor Funeral Homes. We deliver to the communities of Essex, Essex Jct., Burlington, Williston, South Burlington, Colchester, Winooski, Underhill, Jericho, Westford, Shelburne, Richmond, Milton, and out of town.
