I have lived next to Lake Shaftsbury for 32 years. Great place for a walk, a swim, to have a picnic. Beautiful spot all round to spend quality time with family or friends.

Great park with nice hiking trail, paddle boat and maybe kayak or canoe rental. Minimal snack bar in the past. Changing rooms, playground, picnic tables.

We love, love, love this lake! We're spending the summer in Vermont and our family goes nearly afternoon for a swim and to play on the (very clean) beach. Red-winged blackbirds zip around looking...

Beautiful lake and mountains! My big complaint is that there is a lot of dog waste while you walk around. Either cleanup should be enforced or the park should do it. Nice designated swimming area.

Awesome lake with peaceful surroundings. Great fishing with jonboat,paddleboat,canoe which they rent. One of my favorite places on !!!
