Update: Killdeer has raised prices significantly since my review. So I mostly shop elsewhere now. Killdeer is still good for the occasional purchase -- but has priced itself out of the "everyday...

A local Vermont farm stand, well, it's really move of a mega stand with truly awesome local fruits and vegetables. Not just the run of the mill vegies, but a huge range of the squash and the leaf....

I've tried their corn three years in a row and each time the corn was mealy and pure starch. It tasted like the corn you'd get in the 1950's supermarket. I assume it was left on the stalk far too...
