Great place for sliding or snow tubing with the kiddos. Parking adjacent to the hill. Loved it... depending on where you are, it might be a drive.... nice options for lunch in the city, too !

At the top of Hubbard Park is the Hubbard Tower that was built between 1915 and 1930. Only 65 steps to the top, it is made of stones gathered from nearby abandoned walls and fences when the park...

The most gorgeous city park ever! I was blown away by trees and really mellow walk-very east to walk-no hiking shows needed.

The tower lookout was a fun little treasure on our first visit to Montpelier. There's a visitor's parking lot not too far from entryway up to the tower, and it's just as well because the entryway...

It is located in a convenient place: just back of the downtown Montpelier. I had only 2 hours there, so walked there with microspikes. Trails are almost all flat, so microspikes were enough. Good...
