Frederick Tuttle Middle School

South Burlington High School is a coeducational institution that has an enrollment of more than 950 students in grades nine through 12. It offers accelerated and honors programs in English, social studies, mathematics, world languages, technology education and science. The school also provides instruction in fine arts, music, and health and physical education. Its career development center meets the needs of students through placement in work settings and provides mentoring and peer tutoring opportunities. The school offers a contract learning program that serves older students who are working to complete their outstanding graduation requirements. Rick Marcotte Central School enrolls more than 400 students and offers classes from grades kindergarten through five. The school teaches various subjects, including language arts, math, science, social studies, health education, English, arts and crafts, music and physical education. It also provides special education programs for students, such as speech and language therapy, and guidance and counseling services. The school has a fully equipped library and media center that offers a large collection of books and various student research links and resources.
