Fairbanks Museum and Planetarium

Loved the museum, loads of history and artifacts. We saw Butterflies in the planetarium, we can all do our part. Free seeds for wildflowers, too. Just lovely.

I'm possibly a bit biased since it's my hometown museum, but it's incredibly homey and nice. it's simple for sure, but there's some fun stuff to do and it's definitely something you should check...

Small museum covering two floors with some interesting items. However, the planetarium was disappointing. The presenter was monotone and over explained rather than keeping things moving. Also...

This place was an absolute wonder to have found. Went on vacation to get away from the pandemic and enjoy the scenery, and this is a must see. Some of the exhibits will take your breathe away.
