Emerge Massage Studio

History

Hanna Howard opened the doors of Emerge Massage Studio in 2006 in Burlington, VT. As a native Vermonter, she wanted to provide a sanctuary in the heart of downtown Burlington to help the community lower their stress levels and manage every day aches and pains. In 2012 she took her practice to the next level by completing her training in Barefoot Bodywork through the Nationwide DeepFeet Bar Therapy course. She expanded her practice in 2015 by opening a second location in Montpelier, and closed the Burlington office in August of 2017.

Specialties

I specialize in an advanced form of deep tissue massage called Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage. I use my warm, clean feet and gravity to provide a deeper, more comfortable massage than a traditional hands-only massage can provide.
