Twinstate Technologies

About TwinState History In 1968, our company was founded as Adirondack Security Systems by Charles and Dulcie Currier. The first office of the corporation was a single room. In 1969, with the success of the landmark Carter-Fone decision, TwinState Telephone Interconnect was established as a subsidiary of Adirondack Security Systems. Our primary business in the 1970's and early 1980's was security and telephone systems. In the mid 80's, all that drastically changed. Telephones and computers became the main focus. In 1989 we designed and installed our first large scale fiber-optic network. The 90's were a rapidly changing time; integrating voice processing, full-scale voice and computer local area networks, fiber optics, and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems. The turn of the 21st century meant even more change, as Digital Video Recording (DVR) began to outdistance traditional analog VHS technology in surveillance and safety markets. Internet Protocol (IP) -based telephony solutions catapulted into the business lexicon. TwinState forged ahead, meeting the challenges head on with viable and remarkably flexible non-proprietary solutions. In addition to physical systems installation and maintenance, TwinState surged ahead by providing consultative design services to aid growing companies in planning, re-engineering and deployment of new networks and systems. Assistance ranged from cable plant design to "Help Desk" development and points between. As consultants and/or resources for customers struggling through the often confusing elements of long distance and wireless carrier service, TwinState has served with proven dedication and commitment to customer satisfaction. To provide our customers with communications products and services through a company committed to customer service, superb technical capabilities and continued adaptability to emerging technologies in voice, data and video communications disciplines.

Graybar Burlington services Vermont commercial, government and industrial customers. Employing thousands of hard-working men and women, we have the stability and power of a big company and the integrity of a local neighborhood shop. Ever-increasing electricity costs and new environmental regulations have everyone scrambling to find an energy strategy that will not only save money, but will add business value looking into the future. With over 30 percent of energy consumed in commercial buildings used inefficiently, every commercial operator stands to benefit from our comprehensive solutions. Integrating Graybar solutions can help you to attain your long-term sustainability goals like reducing overall energy usage by 20 percent by the year 2020 as required by the U.S. Government. In your existing buildings, a lighting retrofit can be a simple yet effective way to make your building more efficient. These upgrades will improve the quality of light produced while also reducing the heat emitted, thereby reducing air conditioning costs. Lighting accounts for roughly 25 percent of energy used in most facilities, and simply swapping out old lamps and ballasts with newer counterparts can yield savings of up to 67 percent. These upgrades can pay for themselves in as little as two years, have been shown to present a return on investment between 17 and 45 percent for some clients. When planning new projects to be built, our technical specialists can help installers integrate design features that will bring your new building into the space-age. Modern daylighting, when implemented properly, will drastically reduce the cost of lighting during the day. Internal light and motion sensors will cooperate with intelligent control boards to further optimize the lighting situation inside your building. Graybar Burlington can supply and advise any and all of your current and future lighting projects.
