The DAR John Strong Mansion Museum, located in West Addison, Vermont, was constructed in the mid-1790s by General John Strong and his wife, Agnes McClure Strong, following the destruction of their family cabin during conflicts with Indian and Tory forces. This historic home was occupied by five generations of the Strong family until around the Civil War.

Since 1934, the museum has been operated by the Vermont State Society Daughters of the American Revolution and is staffed by dedicated volunteer docents. The mansion serves as a testament to the region's rich history and offers visitors a glimpse into the life of early American settlers.
