Counseling Service of Addison County

Located in Middlebury, Vt., Counseling Service of Addison County is a community mental health center, founded in 1959. It offers a wide variety of mental health and developmental services, including substance abuse treatment, family and child therapies, psychiatry, psychology, mental health counseling and social work. The agency also offers employee assistance programs to assist the troubled employee in overcoming persistent personal problems. It has a Community Associates program that provides services to people with developmental disabilities, including residential, case management, family support and individualized community services. The agency s rehabilitation services include individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, medication, supported housing and volunteer programs. Its Youth & Family Program offers shelter and transitional housing facilities.
