Colchester Pond Trail

The Winooski Valley Park District (WVPD) is a collaborative initiative among eight member communities dedicated to the preservation and stewardship of natural resources in the Winooski River Valley. Currently, WVPD oversees 18 parks and natural areas, encompassing 1,750 acres of conservation land and offering 24 miles of trails along with 13 miles of shoreline on lakes, ponds, and rivers.

WVPD provides a range of outdoor recreational opportunities, including walking, hiking, canoeing, fishing, and wildlife viewing, all accessible to the public without admission fees. In addition to its parks, the organization fosters community engagement through volunteer opportunities, service learning, and educational events.
