Dr. Wong is the director of Gynecologic Oncology at The University of Vermont Medical Center. He manages all forms of gynecologic cancers (ovarian, uterine, cervical, and vulva), pre-invasive gynecologic cancers, and complicated gynecology, such as severe endometriosis. He specializes in surgical treatments for gynecologic cancers, such as minimally-invasive surgery and robotic-assisted surgery. He also performs abdominal, laparoscopic or robotic hysterectomies, removal of ovaries, vulvectomies, and removal of lymph nodes. Dr. Wong believes that every patient should be treated like family. He is the recipient of 16 teaching awards since 2000.

Elise Everett, MD is a gynecologic oncologist at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Dr. Everett chose a career in gynecologic oncology because it is the only cancer subspecialty that allows for full comprehensive care of the patient: she is able to offer her patients surgical treatment, chemotherapy and palliative / end of life care. This allows her to build long-term relationships with her patients and their families, and to develop deep levels of trust, empathy and compassion. It is these relationships that fuel her passion for medicine. Dr. Everett expresses deep gratitude to her patients, who allow her to participate in their lives in such a meaningful way.
