History

Wardle Fields began as an 80-acre farm run by the Wardle family. For nearly fifty years, the Wardle family grew alfalfa, barley and sugar beets on the property from the early 1900s until the 1950s. Salt Lake County purchased the land in 2008 and Wardle Fields Regional Park opened to the public on May 27, 2017.

Specialties

Wardle Fields Regional Park is open daily from dawn to dusk. The splash pad operates select hours from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, weather permitting. Please visit our website for current operating hours.
