Dr. Paul Meriac has a B.S. degree, Bachelors of Science in Business Marketing from East Carolina University, D.O. degree, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from VCOM-Carolinas, and completed residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. He enjoys working on preventative health care with his patients, through a focus on both physical health and mental health. He has an interest in sports medicine, wilderness medicine, and select in-office procedures. He further works with patients through all chronic medical conditions, mental health concerns, sports physicals, and routine wellness physicals. Dr. Meriac understands that many patients are predisposed to developing medical conditions but also focuses on preventing disease and further disease progression through a proactive and collaborative approach with patients. Dr. Meriac works together with patients through shared decision making to help his patients make the most informed health decisions for their own unique situations. In his off-time Dr. Meriac enjoys cooking, woodworking, mountain biking, skiing, and hiking.

Theodore S. Paisley, M.D. is a board-certified family medicine physician with a specialization in sports medicine, practicing in Salt Lake City, Utah. With his medical training from Dartmouth Medical School and a fellowship at the University of Utah, Dr. Paisley combines expert care with a deep commitment to patient education and involvement in the recovery process. An outdoor enthusiast and former Team USA physician during the 2018 Winter Olympics, Dr. Paisley is dedicated to his patients, consistently receiving high ratings for his thoroughness, approachability, and the comprehensive understanding he provides regarding their conditions. His extensive experience also includes roles as a team physician for various sports organizations, making him an asset to both his patients and the broader athletic community. Richmond Scott Doxey, MD, CCMS, is a physician at the primarily at the Madsen Clinic in Salt Lake City, and also does shared medical visits at our Sugarhouse location. As an internist and culinary medicine specialist, his interests include the influence of food patterns and other lifestyle factors on chronic illness, and how to harness the power of lifestyle changes to prevent and treat chronic illness. He has given several presentations and workshops at local, regional and national meetings on the Mediterranean Diet and its impact on chronic illness. Dr. Doxey received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University, majoring in Molecular Biology. He attended medical school and completed his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, followed by Internal Medicine residency at the University of Washington – Boise program in Boise, Idaho. He stayed on as a chief resident for an additional year. He completed his board certification in Internal Medicine followed by Culinary Medicine Specialist certification. In addition to serving as chief resident, he also served on the Recruiting Committee and the Critical Care Committee at the Boise VA. He is currently a member of the ACP, and the Society for General Internal Medicine.
