The Sportsman

Sportsman was started in 1947 by Jack & Lucille Croft. They loved being active in the outdoors and could see that Logan, Utah needed a good outdoor store. Jack loved the equipment and Lucille loved the clothing. Together they decided they could be different from other businesses with outstanding customer service and a good mix of clothing, shoes and equipment. Two generations later that same philosophy applies. We love people and taking care of them. The grand children and great grandchildren of Jack and Lucille also love being active and love to be active in the outdoors. We sell ski, snowboard, backcountry equipment and all the technical clothing to go with it in the winter. We also sell bikes and backpacking equipment and all the technical and casual clothing and footwear in the summer. Men, women and children have loved our store since 1947.
