We are currently enrolling preschoolers for the 2018-19 Preschool Year! Each preschool session consists of three areas of emphasis: academics, art and music & drama. This year, we are thrilled to offer athletics in our new state-of-the-art athletic field located on the second floor. Our preschool classes have 12 students or less and each class rotates through all of these areas of emphasis during the course of the preschool session. All classes have specialized teachers with amazing resources, talents and experience. We have a collaborative curriculum where every classroom correlates and complements each other to provide opportunities to learn and grow both academically and creatively. Although Stepping Stones is a Preschool for the Arts and Athletics, Academics are not slighted. In the Letters and Numbers Room, we take a balanced approach to academics and address all areas of Kindergarten readiness. We use both whole language and phonics to teach early reading skills. We focus on a letter of the week, and in our PreKinder classes, introduce 50 of the high frequency sight words, and offer a take home reading library.
