Judge Memorial Catholic High School is an educational institution that specializes in college preparatory practices. Founded in 1921, it is a coeducational school that serves students in grades 9 through 12. The school offers classes in math, science, social studies, physical education, English and math. Judge Memorial Catholic High School also provides a variety of athletic activities, such as baseball, basketball, football, hockey, lacrosse, soccer, swimming, tennis and cross-country. The school offers college counseling programs to enhance leadership and decision-making skills. Its library media center houses a variety of literary and scholarly materials in various formats. The McGillis School serves approximately 200 students in one through grade eight. Its academic curriculum includes math, English, language arts, science, Spanish, Hebrew and physical education. The school meets the social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs of children. The McGillis School is staffed with a school director, food service manager, art specialist, educational psychologist and teachers. It offers before- and after-school care program. The school is a member of the Pacific Northwest Association of Independent Schools and the National Association of Independent Schools. The McGillis School also conducts field trips and provides parent-teacher consultation services. The school is located in Salt Lake City.
