We had a reservation, but when we showed up, the owner said "No, it was cancelled," and then quoted an astronomical price for 1 night. It was very clear she did not want our business!

Second time in Escalante and staying here and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. You can tell the owners take great pride in running this place, and have so many personal touches all over the place...
