Sweet's Island Place aka Sweet's was created by Uncle Al and Aunty Sweet who came from Hawaii with roots in Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga and Fiji. They wanted to teach their children the Pacific culture through food, music and dancing. They started by doing lu'aus all over Utah and cooking authentic island foods and performing at these events. Best Mac salad and that saying something because I don't really like Mac salad come on the day that they have Locos. They look and taste amazing and everybody that works. There is so nice!

We are from out of town, but try to make a trip to SLC at lease once a year and Sweet's is always on our to do list wonderful people and wonderful food!

Yesterday was my first time at Sweet's Island restaurant. I found the staff to be engaging and full of Aloha and the food was ono-licious, broke da mouth kine!
