Stephanie M. Manberg

Dr. Ostrander received her medical degree from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine, completed her Pediatric residency at RUSH Medical Center and her Pediatric Neurology training at the University of Utah. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at University of Utah and is in the Division of Pediatric Neurology at Primary Children’s Hospital. As the director of the Fetal and Neonatal Neurology Program, Dr. Ostrander focuses on the neurological care of infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with seizures, strokes, brain malformations, hydrocephalus and other neurological issues. She is also Medical Director of the Spina Bifida Clinic at Primary Children's Hospital which is the regional multidisciplinary clinic for infants, children and adolescents with neural tube defects.

Dr. Espinoza was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and obtained his medical degree at Texas A&M College of Medicine. He completed his Pediatric Neurology residency at the University of Utah school of Medicine. He then continued his training at the U of U with a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology, where he focused on additional diagnostic evaluation and management of pediatric epilepsy and neuromuscular disorders. With this training he is qualified to manage all aspects of epilepsy care including diagnostic evaluation, medication management, non-medication alternatives including ketogenic diet/neurostimulator devices, and epilepsy surgery planning. Additionally, he is able to perform nerve conduction studies and electromyograms (NCS/EMG's) for evaluation and management of pediatric neuromuscular disorders. Dr. Espinoza's clinical and research interests include epilepsy and neuromuscular disorders.

Dr. Candee completed her medical degree at Albany Medical College after completing a Master's program in the Biochemical Bases of Nutrition at the Institute for Human Nutrition of Columbia University. She then completed her pediatric residency and subspecialty training in pediatric neurology at the University of Utah, where she was a chief resident. She is board certified in neurology with special qualification in pediatric neurology, and is board eligible in pediatrics. Dr. Candee is a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Neurology. She is the director of the University of Utah Pediatric Neurology Residency Program and co-founder/director of the University of Utah Comprehensive Pediatric Headache Clinic. She is also the associate medical director for pediatric ambulatory operations. She is a UCNS certified Headache specialist and fellow of the American Headache Society. Dr. Candee's clinical and research interests are in the areas of childhood headache, pediatric multiple sclerosis, and genetic epilepsy syndromes. She is dedicated to resident education and the collaborative care of children with pediatric neurological disorders.
