HistoryArtamisha began her initial training with Suzuki harp teacher, Kimberly Dunford, in Salt Lake City. Throughout grade school, she competed in various competitions, including the American Harp Society National Competition, the Young Artist's Harp Competition, and the Utah Sterling Scholar Music Competition. She was also accepted into the 4th International Harp Academy HarpMasters Program in Bern, Switzerland, where she studied with Milda Agazarian and performed in the HarpMaster Gala Concert in 2009. Artamisha was accepted into the Harp Performance program at Brigham Young University where she studied with Dr. Nicole Brady. She has also studied with ShruDeLi Ownby, Carol McLaughlin, and Mary Kay Waddington. Misha currently teaches Suzuki harp students in her studio in Salt Lake City. She plays for local hotels and restaurants and has catered events attended by actress Katie Holmes, and singer Michael Buble. Misha currently serves as the Suzuki Association of Utah Harp Vice President.SpecialtiesHi my name is Artamisha Farnsworth. I am a Suzuki Method trained Professional Harpist and Harp Teacher. I perform solo harp at weddings, receptions, and parties of all occasions. I can also perform with other instruments at your request. With over 100 songs in my popular repertoire, I offer a variety of classical, popular, love songs, wedding recessionals and processionals and am willing to take musical requests to fit your special occasion. I am also passionate about teaching harp. My students not only learn musical skills, but discipline, perseverance, and confidence. I love sharing my music with others.
