Dekker C. Deacon, MD, PhD, FAAD, completed his residency in dermatology at the University of Utah and has a special interest in the genetics of skin cancer and skin cancer treatment, including Basal Cell Carcinoma, Squamous Cell Carcinoma, Melanoma and others. Dr. Finlayson's clinical specialty is minimally invasive abdominal surgery. His primary areas of clinical practice are colon surgery, including colon cancer, colon polyps, diverticulitis, and other conditions of the colon; abdominal wall hernias, including ventral, incisional, inguinal and femoral hernias; and gallbladder and gallstone disease.

Dr. Ami Patel is an Assistant Professor of Medicine within the Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies at the Huntsman Cancer Institute/University of Utah. She is a hematologist and physician-scientist with an NIH-funded independent translational research program investigating the biology of myeloid malignancies, specifically myeloid leukemogenesis as it relates to the intersection of inflammation, aging and oncogenic kinase signaling.
