Sankar Swaminathan

Erinn Kim, MD is an Assistant Professor within the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Utah specializing in craniofacial surgery. She attained her medical degree at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. From there she completed a general surgery residency at UCSF Fresno and is board certified in General Surgery. She then completed a plastic surgery residency at the University of Utah followed by a fellowship in craniofacial surgery at the University of California San Diego.

Dr. Troy Hatfield received both bachelor’s and medical degrees from the University of New Mexico. He then completed Pediatric Residency training at University of Utah. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the University of Utah. Dr. Hatfield provides patient care in the Emergency Department and Rapid Treatment Unit at Primary Children’s Hospital. His clinical and academic areas of interest include Tribal Medicine, managing new-onset Type I Diabetes, Diabetic Ketoacidosis, and Asthma.

John Fang M.D., is the Division Chief and Professor Medicine of the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Utah Hospital and Huntsman Cancer Institute. His clinical and research interests include Barrett's Esophagus, Enteral Nutrition, Esophageal Diseases, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), and Therapeutic Endoscopy. He has authored and co-authored over 75 peer-reviewed research publications in these areas. Dr. Fang received his Medical Degree from Washington University School of Medicine in 1989. He received training in Internal Medicine from Temple University Hospital and Gastroenterology at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center. Dr. Fang is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Fang is also Medical Director of Endoscopy at the University of Utah Hospital. He is currently the vice-chair of the Ambulatory Endoscopy Centers Special interest group for the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and has served on numerous committees for the American Gastroenterological Association and American College of Gastroenterology.
